On the road again

We are on the road heading North. Our destination is Fortuna. On our way we saw many advertisments. Two of these advertisements intertwine with the Redwoods. One of these places is the eternal tree, it is a tree that has survived trough lightning strikes, floods, and even fires. The second one is the tree house. It is a 12 foot room made from a Redwood tree still in the ground. When we made it to the campsite we decided to go to a sea grill for dinner. We went to the Sea Grill and I eat a king salmon and I tried a clam and a oyster. I did like the taste but the texture was the problem. We went home after dinner and went to bed for the big day tomorrow.

The Sad Day

I awoke with sadness that I would soon leave Lucia and her amazing home right before her birthday. This was the sadest day of the trip. We are leaving to Cloverdale. At 8:00 Nana went to the store for supplies. At 9:00 we did a light check. And left to Cloverdale. They waved goodbye the same way the said hello standing in the driveway. They began to get smaller and smaller every time I blinked. Then we were on the freeway heading north. Going through the traffic in Oakland. You can see San Fransisco Bay. Finally after 4 hours we made it to KOA camping. The camp site was in a way nice. It had no grass but nice play ground and pool. We began our first adventure by getting in to the car and we drove for a half an hour and drove in to a winery called York Ville. Nana and Bumpa tasted wine as I smell wine and tasted crackers. Our next winery was called Breggo. They had no crackers but they did have fine smelling wine and pretty red chairs. Our next winery I think to be rather interesting, because it was made out of a red wood tree. This tree was so big they made two buildings out of it!!!! It was called Greenfield. They did have crackers and a lot of awards. We drove took a long drive home. It was time for food. We stop at a market and Nana bought me an apple cider pop it was very good. We drove the rest of the way home. We ate for dinner steaks. Then I had to make my bed and then we watched the movie "The Mask". Had some ice cream and went o bed.

The Day After

We slept in until 8:00 am the next morning. We had pancakes for breakfast. They were very good. It was a cold moring like all the rest. Then Lucia reminded me that today we  get to see Brave. Then I cheered right up. It was a slow morning. I could tell that very one was still all tired from the party. I know I was. At around 9:00 am Nana, Beckett and Bumpa went the park. A half an hour later we went to the park also. It was so hot!!!!!! I can't beileve that I said it was cold that morning. At the park I climbed the rope pyramid and Bumpa spun me on the sping thing. I felt like I was going to be flung off. It was fun but then the sun  took that fun and put it on a frying pan. When home we ate lunch. Then we began to make a new dance. It turned out to be a good one too. Then it was time for Jules to go. The first time I met my cousin that I never knew and I only had two days with her. After she left we had to wait to go to the movies at 6:30 pm. It came around fast. We went to the movies and what I mean by we I mean Karyn, Lucia, Nana, and I. It was a very good movie. Funny, sad and a little wierd. After we went home we watched TV and went to bed.

Party Time

I began my day by waking from a restless sleep. I went downstairs and ate my breakfast. Then suddenly I rememerd that it is the day of Lucia's party. After breakfast Lucia and I did our dance. Bumpa took pictures of us and I look so pretty. After we went upstairs to get ready for the party. Shortly after we went to get ready a girl named Jules came. It was Lucie's surprise. We started to set up the back yard. Everthing was ready. It was 1:00 when poeple showed up. It was an amazing party if I do say so my self. Once poeple began to leave I realized that Jules was related to me. Since Jules is Lucia's cousin that means she is my cousin, too.  I was amazed  how slow I was of see that. Party was over and it was time for a shower. After all we were clean, we ate pizza for dinner and watched a movie. I cried. Then we all hit the sack.

Gift Time

Preparing to Party

It is Friday and that means tomorrow is Lucia's birthday party. Today is the day that we get ready for the party. I went with Karyn to drop of Lucia and then came home to pick up Beckett. By then Nana and Bumpa were to leave for there friends house. So I was to stay and help get ready for the party. Then Karyn took Beckett and I to the store for flour and and other stuff for the party. When we come home it was only a couple minutes ontile we have to pick up Lucia. Onc ehome again we begain our first jod making cloud sand. We started by only using 30lb and one bottle of baby oil, but we did the math and it was not enough. So we went back to the store and after we end up with 50lb of flour and 100oz of baby oil. After we started dinner. Then me and Lucia waited to make cup cakes. It was 9:30 at night when we finally made cup cakes. By 10:00we wre in bed. When the lights we were not a sleep instead me and lucie made a dance to the song "The Sun Will Come Out Tomarrow". Then went to sleep.

Girl time

My cousin went to camp ontile 12:00 so I am here alone with not much people to talk too. Luckly for me I am going with Nana go shopping at target. When at home again. Karyn went and picked up Lucia. Once she comes home Nana is going to take us out to girl time. We went to Hobees for lunch and Old Navy for an alfit. Then went home. For dinner we had soup it was very delightful. After I went to bed.

On to Cambell

It was a fast moving morning. I ate breakfast, reese's puffs. Took a shower at the camp site and we were on the road at 9:53. Heading North. Our desination is the wilder's house in Campbell. We are finally here. We were greeted in the drive way at 12:00. When I walked in the door way the blow of cool air felt good on my face. Little later there neighbors came over with gifts for Japan where they were the day before. I was not expecting to get anything. After dinner and a quick walk I felt completely at home.

The Beginning

We began our adventure on July 17, 2012 at 9:30am on the 15 freeway. Our only desination today was King City. By 9:42 we were on the 215 heading to the 395. Now 3:16 pm half way to king city. We are in the area of the Coast Ranges. The ride there looked like it would never end, but after a few naps and a 7 hour drive we arived at the camp site at San Lorenzo Park. It had beautiful scenery. Only for the bugs. For dinner we had  hamburger. After went for a walk and watched a movie we went to bed.
